The Gaelic has a new surprise, with a recent purchase of 200 seats it is now able to do Theatre Style events. The mezzanine level of the Gaelic will be turned into a Cocktail Bar for these nights which will bring a new light to one of Sydney’s best live music venues.  From a show with 150 seats and 300 standing to that of 200 seats only, many events can be catered for.

Aiming at bringing in a more diversified market including Jazz & Blues shows, Roots shows and also producing acoustic shows of well know rock artist, there is no limit to what can be achieved.  A mid week venue in the heart of the city creating a hub of entertainment, this is the aim of The Gaelic Theatre Style.

THURSDAY 8th MAY - Saving Grace + The Falls + Cameron & Gabrielle (Dead Letter Chorus) will be the first show of the week. With strings sections,  shimmering, harmonies and indie folk, this will be an evening that will whisk you away on a effortless voyage. The music has complex arrangements and is delivered with a air of brillance.

FRIDAY 9th MAY – The Hipstones + Steve Clisby class and safistication are two things that come to mind when these 2 artist are mentioned. With a little bit of soul mixed with a blend of funk and a touch of rock, this is the night to come dressed for success.

SATURDAY 10th MAY  - Mr Percival + Mahalia Barnes & The Soul Mates + Matt Ralph + Tommy Dean (Comedian) to end the run of shows will be The Show itself. With different areas throughout the room to create different vibes there is something for everyone. On the back of Mahalia Barnes first EP release this will be a showcase for her fans and for the people that want a night to remember.
